As a self-proclaimed sushi enthusiast and lover of Japanese cuisine, exploring the menu at Kasai Sushi Bar & Kitchen was like stepping into a curated world of flavors and textures. From the very first sip of their umami-packed Miso Soup to the zingy freshness of Tom Yum Goong, the starters alone were enough to hook me in.
The Appetizers shine with variety — crisp Spring Rolls, tender Shumai, and the crowd-favorite Gyoza Dumplings set the tone right. But it's at the Sushi Bar Appetizers where things get adventurous. The Dinosaur Egg is a bold, spicy kick, while the Yellowtail Jalapeno offers delicate fish layered with just the right punch of heat.
When it comes to rolls, Kasai plays both classic and creative cards. From simple pleasures like Tuna Avocado Rolls and California Rolls to decadent inventions like the Foxy Lady Roll and Snow Mountain Roll, there’s something for every palate. Vegetarians aren’t left out either — the Sweet Potato Tempura Roll and Steamed Asparagus Roll are satisfying, flavor-packed bites.
Their Chef’s Specials are standout entrees. I couldn’t get enough of the Mango Shrimp and the rich, savory Sesame Chicken. For a more refined sushi experience, the Sushi Deluxe and Lover Boat A deliver an artful spread of fresh cuts.
Even kids have their own delightful section — Kid’s Hibachi Chicken and Chicken Noodle are perfect for little foodies. And don’t sleep on dessert — the Banana Tempura with Ice Cream is the perfect sweet ending.
From lunch bento boxes to sizzling hibachi dishes, Kasai’s menu is a celebration of Japanese cuisine — approachable yet elevated, traditional with a modern twist.
